A long, long time ago I got a degree in Elementary Education, promptly ignored it and entered the medical field. Go, me.
Then I had babies and I was lucky enough to stay at home with them for ten years. Ten years!!!
In September, 2012, my kids' elementary school needed a computer teacher. I started thinking about it, applied and got the job. Whoa!!
It's been fun and amazing! I love it!
I especially love the flexibility I am given. As long as I teach the concepts (and the kids learn it), I can teach them however I want. I love getting creative and thinking outside the box on how to get these lessons across and have them stick.
This blog is a compilation of some of my best (and worst) ideas.

Here's the deal. I'm not that creative. I get most of my inspirations by looking at other people's awesome work and I do a crappy job trying to recreate it for myself. If I've included a pdf of something, it is my wording but the idea may have come from somewhere else. That said, please don't sell anything you get off from my site. It's not fair to me and it's not fair to the original thinker of the excellent idea I borrowed. You can certainly use it in your classroom, though. My classroom budget is quite generous compared to most schools and our PTO is amazing and awesome but I still end up spending some of my own money for my class. I can't imagine what other teachers spend when they don't have the resources I do. Hopefully this blog will help.
